Our foster kittens George and Blake, have found a nice loving home in South Boston. They have two sisters who, up until three days ago, we were listing as shy. However, the girlies have has a breakthrough and morphed into cuddle bunny purr-monsters (as we like to call them). I guess they decided that humans are okay to trust and they are making up for lost time in terms of cuddling. All four kittens were found under rt. 93 at a construction site, all dirty, hungry, cold and wet. They were rescued via Second Chance Shelter in Jamaica Plain and we foster the little ones via that organization. Olivia (to the left) purrs so loud she sounds like a little motor. :) They cuddle with us, although are still scared of visitors. However, they will warm up in a few days once they are settled and comfortable in their new home. If you would like to adopt the girls TOGETHER for their entire lives (they can live up to 20 years!) and feel as though you would offer them a loving and safe home, please be in touch. They are only being adopted as a pair because they love each other so much! Savannah says that she and her sister Olivia will be getting email accounts soon, too, but they are still learning to type. In the meantime, you can be in touch with me (their foster mom) at firstname.lastname@example.org. The adoption fee is $100 each, $200 total, which is about 1/3 what it would cost to have them spayed, tested for FIV/Feline Leuk., and get shots and dewormed, which is ALL already taken care of. Please share a little about yourself when you email. We can set up a time for you to visit the girls, you can fill out an application, we’ll check references (required by Second Chance Shelter) and assuming all goes as planned, we can usually have the whole process done in about five-seven days. Looking forward to hearing from anyone wanting to grow (or start) a cat family :)

This post is back posted so that I can advertise our foster kittens. Please ignore if you aren’t kitten adopting :)
Hi. Our names are Blake and George and we are putting outselves up for adoption. We are brothers. Our foster family is very nice, but it is crowded here with other kittens and we need to find a permanent home. We’ve got to go to a home TOGETHER because we are best friends.
We like to chase balls, jump on things, and sneak up on our sisters. I’m the most outgoing (that’s why I’m writing this) and me and Blake both love to cuddle and play. We also like to be rubbed under the chin and sleep on soft blankets.
We need to go where we are indoor-only cats. We were found at a construction site under rt. 93 and living outside as kittens was really hard on us and we don’t want to face that again. When our foster parents got us we were covered with thick dirt and grime. We like it best inside where it is clean and there is no rain. We were found only a few days after the big rain storms and were wet and cold and hungry. We also need to go to a home where we will never be declawed- ouch! We are FIV/Feline Leukemia negative, and we’ve all been fixed and had our shots. If you want two new kittens to your home, we would be good candidates. We are litter trained. You would need to keep us for our whole lives, take us for yearly vet check-ups, please promise you won’t ever give us away, and won’t declaw us or let outside and especially if you really like to play and cuddle, please email our foster mom. We are fostered through Second Chance Shelter in Jamaica Plain and in order to adopt us you’ll have to fill out an application. And there is a $100 fee for each of us that covers our shots, medical care, and getting fixed. We know it seems high, but doctors prices are expensive these days! If you would like to visit us, we’re in Somerville, MA and our foster mom will set up an apt. for you to see us. We’re so excited to meet some new people and maybe find a home! My foster mom’s email is email@example.com. Thank you very much.
Sincerely, George the kitten

Our names are Theo and Emerson and we are looking for a home together. We’re brothers and we can’t stand to be apart from each other, so we can only be adopted together. We were found on the streets and Second Chance Shelter in Jamaica Plain was able to find us a foster family while we were socialized and have become very cuddly and feel as though we are ready to find a forever home. We have a brother Phineas who is still sick, but we are healthy, and have had our first round of shots and have an appointment to get fixed which will be covered by our adoption fee. We have tested negative for Feline AIDS and for Feline Leukemia and are in very good shape. As you can see, we are both black. I have more orange eyes (that’s me, Theo) and Emerson has blueish green eyes and also a few white hairs under his chin so you can tell us apart. We are about 12-14 weeks old. I (Theo) like to talk and I meow to say hi or to say when I’m hungry. I enjoy chasing balls and strings and cuddling. My brother Emerson is a little more quiet, but he also likes to play with strings and chase balls. As you can see from the picture, we also like to cuddle together. We are looking for a loving permanent stable home where we can live out the next 15-20 years or so with an wonderful family or individual. If you think you could offer us a home together, we would love to meet you. You can email our foster mom. It would be great if you could tell us a little bit about you and your family or roommates and what our living situation might be like. We will respond to only a few ads because our foster mom says that kittens usually get more responses than they can get to.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read our ad. Sincerely, Theo and Emerson.
