Kwanzaa Stories?

I’m reading a Kwanzaa story at church tomorrow, but I’ve been a little disappointed at the stories that I’ve found online. If anyone knows of any particularly lovely stories available online (or that you could email me soooon) I’d love to know of them. I want to do the holiday justice. Much peace, Elizabeth

(As a follow up to this (on Feb 12), I thought that there was a great post on Kwanzaa on Never Say Never to Your Traveling SelfWhen is a Holiday Not a UU Holiday?)

If you want to do Kwanzaa justice you might want to research it a bit more deeply. Its founder Ron Karenga was a rather controversial figure.

The emerson avenger REALLY wanted you to research it.

The only thing I know about Kwanzaa is what Brad’s mom told me about it. “We don’t celebrate that kumbaya bullshit.”

I’ve more or less been doing nothing worth mentioning, but oh well. Basically not much exciting happening worth mentioning. I just don’t have anything to say right now, but whatever. Eh.
